The group, consisting of Chanyeon, Hyunjin, and Jiseok, is riding high on the release of their third single, “SLOW,” featuring DAY6’s Young K, which dropped on August 11th.

Meet Big Ocean, the rising K-Pop group making waves with their inspiring message and unique sound. Jiseok was discovered during a RUNWAY show, while Chanyeon made it through an official audition. Chanyeon recalls, “We used to practice late into the night… After those long sessions, we’d often just sit around and talk.” Hyunjin adds, “It was during those times that I realized how important it was to move at our own pace.” These shared experiences fostered a deep bond and shaped their approach to music, as reflected in their song “SLOW.”

Hyunjin: TXT’s Yeonjun has always been a major inspiration for me. His stage presence and
energy are incredible, and collaborating with him would be a dream come true. I’m especially
excited about his upcoming VR concert—it’s going to be thrilling to experience.

Chanyeon: I deeply admire Mark from NCT and Shotaro from RIIZE for their incredible dance
skills. Watching Shotaro up close when Jiseok and Hyunjin did a challenge dance with him
really inspired me. I would love to share the stage with him and create something truly special.

Jiseok: BTS’s RM is someone I’ve always respected for his immense talent and strong
leadership in the industry. Collaborating with him would be an incredible honor and a dream
come true.
