The Annex Atrium of SM North EDSA exploded with P-Pop power as fans swarmed the OPM Series P-Pop Fest Year 2 last June 8, 2025! This second annual event was a total smash hit, rolling out a super dynamic stage for all things Pinoy and pop, hyped up by the unbelievable roar of all the dedicated fanbases who waited hours to watch their idols perform on-stage.
From early morning, the atrium is steadily filled with long lines of eager attendees who are patiently waiting for their favorite P-Pop idols to grace the stage. The atmosphere was fun and vibrant. The floor was surrounded by fans holding their banners, exchanging photocards and freebies, and excited to see what’s in-store for them at the fest. The event also showed the growing influence of P-Pop on the younger generation.
The diverse and dynamic line-up showcased the breadth of talent within the P-Pop scene, featuring both established groups and rising stars. The performances kicked off with GLITZY and GENZIX for the pre-show. The main show opened with DIV9, followed by ZELA, ASTER, CALISTA, ONE VERSE, PIXIE, CLOUD 7, AJAA, MNL48, and finally, international sensation HORI7ON.

The stage came alive with a series of captivating performances, starting with GLITZY with their covers on G22’s “Bang” and SB19’s “Hanggang sa Huli.” Genzix followed with a memorable performance of “5 Seconds.“
DIV9 who kicked things off with their stylish flair, performing their single “SHEESH!” and a cover of KAIA’s “Tanga.” Next up, ZELA took command, delivering powerful renditions of “Karma” and KATSEYE’s “Gnarly.”

ASTER then impressed the crowd with their diverse sound, performing “A Star,” a dynamic cover of SB19’s “Time,” and their track, “Bingo.” CALISTA captivated the audience with “Alas Dose,” while ONE VERSE shared their heartfelt song “Ako Dapat.”

PIXIE charmed everyone with a sweet performance of “Iced Coffee,” and Cloud 7 got the energy soaring with “Louder,” “Tayo Na,” “Tara Na,” and “Bara Bara.” AJAA truly energized the crowd, performing their hits “Dedma,” “Hany,” “Bes I Luv U,” and “Torpe.”

P-Pop pioneers MNL48, one of the most-awaited group of the night, delighted their devoted fans with “Igai ni Mango” and the ever-popular “Pag-Ibig Fortune Cookie.” (Writer’s Note: There might be songs that I wasn’t able to indicate as I cannot find the titles.)

The night reached its fever pitch as HORI7ON took the stage, sending the crowd into a frenzy. The global P-Pop group delivered an unforgettable finale with their popular tracks “Lucky” and “Dash,” showcasing their smooth choreography and powerful vocals. They also performed the English version of Lee Seung Chul’s “Amateur,” along with their songs “Cold” and “Odd Eye,” leaving the fans wanting more.
OPM Series P-POP Fest Year 2 was a clear indicator of the genre’s upward trajectory, promising an even brighter future for Pinoy pop on both the local and international stage.
