Chao Shang Beef Hotpot City Gives You An Authentic Chinese Hotpot Experience

Unlimited healthy hot pot experience just in Pasay? Yep, you got it right! Let me introduce to you the newest authentic hotpot place near Mall of Asia, Chao Shang Beef Hotpot City!

Ambiance

Having its soft opening last October 6, the Chao Shang Hotpot City doesn’t just serve hotpot dishes but is also home to luxurious Chinese dishes like Beef Hofan Guisado, Beef Fried Rice, Beef Bola-bola Hofen Soup and Beef Steak Hofan Soup.

All these, having orders good for 2-3 persons. They have an open kitchen where you can see all your meats are freshly prepared. This is also where they cut the vegetables and directly serve it on your table! You can also see authentic Chinese items on their receiving area including their sauces, drinks and even shows their PH and China flag on display!

Food

Cooking in a hotpot way is a healthier option that has been passed on as a traditional way of cooking in China having soup as a replacement for cooking vegetables and meat than cooking it in oil. During our dining experience, one of the staffs helped us cooked our own hotpot! If it’s your first time experiencing hotpot, all the staffs are very accommodating and friendly enough to help you. We had a feast on this delicious hotpot surrounded with different veggies, noodles and side dishes!

The hotpot is at 1,198 NET price per head for unlimited meat and vegetables– My faves? The mushroom and meatballs! It’s perfect! Also, the side dish seems like the Chinese version of Kimchi for me! hofan noodles is a bit slippery so if you are not so good at using chopsticks, you better ask for a spoon and fork for an easier meal time.

Additionally, you can create your own soup flavors as they provide an area for you to pick the sauce ingredients that you’d like to add to simply spice up your soup! On the other hand, you just need to order for the beef part that you’d like to add to your soup.

Lastly, for your drinks — they serve tea before your meal and you can order soda or other drinks from their fridge! Yep, even the coke and sprite is in Mandarin label!

Ella’s recommendation

  1. I highly suggest that you come here using a cab or own car as it needs a five to ten minutes exercise from building A to D. However, it’s a good thing since you’ll be eating a lot for sure!
  2. Their chef is Chinese so you’ll be amazed by their cutting skills, cooking the meat only takes about 3-5 minutes to try to do it yourself, you’ll have fun promise!

Location

Building D, Filinvest Cyberzone Bay City, Pasay City
The restaurant is open Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
