Festival Mall Alabang has a new destination for cool treats and a modern vibe with the grand opening of Café Koreano by Bonchon. The new café is the first standalone location for the brand, which aims to introduce a sophisticated and fresh take on Korean café culture to the bustling halls of the mall.

Located on the second floor, Café Koreano reimagines the vibrant café scene of Korea by focusing on bingsu, the beloved shaved ice dessert. The menu transforms this classic treat into a versatile base for a wide array of innovative and visually stunning creations, perfectly adapted for a contemporary audience. The concept goes beyond just serving dessert; it’s about providing a space to connect, relax, and create stylish memories all year round.

Scott Tan, Managing Director of Scottland Food Group Corporation, the company behind Bonchon, expressed excitement about the new venture. “The opening of our first Café Koreano at Festival Mall Alabang is a significant milestone,” Tan shared.

The menu is a celebration of authentic and innovative Korean flavors with a signature icy twist. It features a diverse range of treats, ensuring there’s something for every palate. The offerings are categorized into three main selections:

Bingsu Coffee: These innovative drinks combine the chill of bingsu with a caffeine kick, featuring indulgent options like the rich Classic Caramel, decadent Chocolate, and unique Ube Milk and Banana Milk flavors.
Bingsu Blends: For those seeking a creamy, non-caffeinated treat, the blends offer sophisticated and refreshing choices such as the Matcha White Chocolate, luscious Creamy Strawberry, and distinct Honeydew.
Classic Bingsu: The brand also continues to innovate its traditional bingsu offerings with toppings that cater to various cravings. Customers can enjoy popular combinations like Mango Cheesecake, Chocolate Brownie, and a playful Strawberry Oreo, alongside more traditional flavors like Matcha Red Bean and the delightful Matcha Strawberry Mochi.
Each bingsu is crafted with finely shaved milky snow ice, creating a smooth, snowy base that harmonizes beautifully with the various flavors and textures.

To celebrate its grand debut, Café Koreano is running a special Grand Opening Promo from June 10 to June 17. Customers can get a Classic Caramel Café Koreano or Mango Cheesecake Bingsu for just Php 99. The promo is available for dine-in and take-out orders.
