March is always an exciting time for Jackies—fans of the global superstar Jackson Wang—and this year, the celebration in the Philippines was extra special. I was thrilled to join my fellow Filo Jackies last March 229 for an unforgettable hot pot experience at Haidilao Philippines, where we celebrated his birthday and tried the fantastic new collaboration menu.
The Jackson’s Pick Set Meal
Haidilao recently launched the Jackson’s Pick Set Meal for 2, and I made sure to check it out right after it became available on March 10th. This wasn’t just a delicious dinner; it was a true fan treat. The meal includes two free, limited-edition Jackson photocards—a must-have for any collector like me!
The entire set is curated to feature some of Jackson’s personal favorites from the menu, giving fans a taste of what he loves. The meal combo specifically highlights items like Angus Beef Short Plate and Australian Lamb Shoulder as Jackson’s known favorites.
What’s in the Hot Pot Combo?
The meal itself is generous and perfect for sharing.
For the hot pot base, the set comes with quarter pots of two iconic broths: the rich, fiery Sichuan spicy soup and the comforting, tangy tomato soup. We also got delicious sides, including a full portion of the addictively crunchy crispy pork strips and a serving of fried rice with egg. The set meal is loaded with both meat and vegetable items, served in generous half-portions for us to cook and enjoy:
Half-Portion Meat Dishes:
- Haidilao signature beef
- Ham luncheon with chopped pork
- Haidilao beef
- Fish balls
- Aussie Sliced lamb shoulder
Half-Portion Vegetable Dishes:
- Three beancurd rolls
- Leaf lettuce
- Thick-cut potato slices
- Golden enoki mushroom
To complete the feast, we got to choose two refreshing beverages from the options, which included sour plum and iced lemon water.
It was a truly special way to celebrate Jackson’s birthday—surrounded by fellow Jackies, enjoying incredible food, lots of spazzing during our meal, getting to know each other and talking about how much we love Jackson Wang ang GOT7 and leaving with some awesome new photocards for our collection!
