From Mentor to Music Producer
While his roots date back to his debut as the main vocalist of the boy group HISTORY in 2013, EL CAPITXN’s career took a significant turn toward production after the group’s disbandment. In 2018, he founded his own label, VENDORS, while simultaneously collaborating with major labels, including the powerhouse HYBE.
His influence was recently spotlighted on the reality competition show “Universe League,” where he served as a mentor and helped discover the group AHOF. He became known for elevating his team’s performances with his masterful compositions.
This success continued to ring true on the charts this year, with AHOF’s debut album, Who We Are, featuring the lead single “Rendezvous,” which topped charts upon its July release. This was quickly followed by the EL CAPITXN-produced track “Pinocchio,” which secured AHOF’s first music show win.
With a signature sound blending alternative rock with metal influences, EL CAPITXN’s upcoming tour promises a concert experience that will redefine the K-Pop stage.
