Korean Cultural Center PH’s Pop-Up Library at BGC Passionfest 2024

The recent BGC Passionfest 2024 was a vibrant celebration of arts, culture, and community. Amidst the festivities, the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) brought a touch of literary magic with its captivating Pop-Up Library!

The pop-up library offered a diverse selection of books, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Korean literature. From heartwarming tales to thought-provoking essays, the collection catered to a wide range of interests for its visitors.

A Memorable Experience

Many attendees took advantage of this unique opportunity to discover new authors and genres. The cozy ambiance of the pop-up library, coupled with the curated selection of books, created a perfect setting for quiet reflection and literary exploration.

Aside from the classic Korean literary titles, visitors also enjoyed browsing through selections of Kpop-themed books like “Learn Korean with BTS”, Blackpink in Your Korean” and the best-selling book “Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS”. The English version of the popular manhwa “True Beauty” is also available at the pop-up.

To bring home a piece of the experience, visitors at the booth had the chance to bring home cute Korean bookmarks for free! If you missed the pop-up library at BGC Passionfest, don’t worry! BGC Passionfest 2024

BGC Passionfest 2024, themed “Passions as Bridges,” was a grand celebration of Filipino music. The Pinoy Playlist Music Festival (PPMF) 2024, curated by renowned figures in the music industry, showcased the diverse talents of Filipino artists across generations and genres.

From November 15 to 17, the BGC Arts Center and 5th Avenue were transformed into vibrant stages, hosting a variety of performances, from solo acts to orchestral ensembles. Whether you’re a fan of traditional Filipino music or contemporary pop, PPMF 2024 has something for everyone. However, due to inclement weather, the 3rd day of the festival has been cancelled.
