Minho Wraps <MEAN: Of My First> Asia Tour with a Finale Concert in Manila

“Philippine SHINEE WORLD, did you guys miss me? [I] miss you too! I am Minho of SHINee! Kamusta? Ako si Minho.”

SHINee’s Minho just concluded his first Asia tour with a successful show in Manila. His “2025 MINHO CONCERT <MEAN : of my first> IN MANILA”, presented by L-Squared Productions happened at the New Frontier Theater on March 16th and served as the final stop of a tour that began in Seoul in November 2024 and included performances in five cities across Asia.

In Manila, Minho delivered a captivating performance, showcasing a mix of his solo songs that ranged from high-energy to emotionally resonant performances. He opened the show with “Affection,” “Would You Mind,” “Came And Left Me.”

He launched into a series of high-octane tracks, including “Fireworks,” “Roundkick,” “Chase,” “Callback,” “Slowdown,” and “I Don’t Miss You,” compelling the audience, known as Shawols, to rise to their feet and immerse themselves in the electrifying atmosphere. He actively engaged with the crowd, urging them to fully enjoy the concert experience.

Transitioning to a more soulful segment, Minho showcased his versatility with performances of “Runaway,” “Prove It,” “I’m Home,” “Stay For A Night,” “Because of You,” “Waterfall,” “Heartbreak,” and “Something About U.” These performances highlighted his refined dance moves and impressive vocal range, solidifying his reputation as the “Flaming Charisma” of the K-pop industry. His performance on “Something About U” also revealed his rock-hard abs that made everyone go crazier that night.

Adding to the nostalgic charm of the evening, Minho paid homage to his group, SHINee, with renditions of beloved classics like “View” and “Body Rhythm.” He also included his solo tracks, “You’re Right” and “Choice,” demonstrating his individual artistry. The crowd’s overwhelming enthusiasm during the performance of “Callback” prompted Minho to spontaneously perform it again, creating a special, unplanned moment for the fans.

As the concert drew to a close, Minho expressed his heartfelt gratitude and shared his regret at the evening’s end, stating, “It is really, really a great day and it’s so sad to finish it now. I am very happy tonight.” The audience responded with fervent chants of “Walang Uuwi,” meaning “No one goes home,” signaling their desire for the night to continue. In a playful gesture, Minho jokingly pretended to lie down on the stage, quipping that he would stay, leaving the audience with a lasting memory of his warmth and playful interaction.

Looking ahead, Minho’s busy schedule continues. On March 22nd, he will throw the first pitch at the SSG Landers baseball season opener, marking his fourth consecutive year in that role. He will then return to acting on April 5th, playing Tae-seop in the play “Rendezvous” at the Seoul Arts Center. Additionally, SHINee is preparing for their seventh solo concert, “SHINee WORLD Ⅶ [E.S.S.A.Y],” scheduled for May 23rd-25th at KSPO DOME in Seoul.
