A First-Hand Look Inside the ROSÉ Rosie Pop-Up Store in Singapore

I was lucky enough to visit ROSÉ’s pop-up store that celebrates her new album ROSIE as it finally opened its doors at Mandarin Gallery in Singapore. It was everything I’d hoped for and more, offering a deep dive into the artistry and world of Rosé that felt both personal and grand and of course as *pink* as a rose.

The Number One Experience

The first thing that hits you when you walk in is the sheer scale and beauty of the space. They’ve perfectly captured the aesthetic of the ROSIE album—it’s dreamy, a little edgy, and drenched in a gorgeous, dusty pink hue. The pop-up is cleverly split into two zones, and I started my journey on the first floor, in the Experience & Exhibition Zone. This area, facing the bustling Orchard Road, was less a store and more a carefully curated art exhibit.

The highlight, without a doubt, was the massive APT. Drum Set installation from the music video. The centerpiece of the room was a shiny, black-and-silver symbol of Rosé’s rock-inspired sound. I saw so many fans, (including myself) taking their best rocker poses next to it, trying to capture the energy of the video. Of course, the room is backgrounded with “APT” soundtrack.

Beyond the drums, the whole space was filled with immersive visuals. It was an Instagrammer’s dream, with every corner offering a unique photo-op that made you feel like you were walking through Rosé’s creative world. I spent a good half hour just soaking it all in, admiring the dedication to every little detail.

After fully immersing myself in the exhibition, I made my way to the second floor, the store which was dedicated entirely to the Merchandise Zone. And oh, the merch list was extensive. From the iconic “number one girl” T-shirts in white, blue, and black to a variety of “rosie” and “APT.” branded apparel, there was something for everyone. I immediately walked toward the APT. Ball Caps—especially the one with the lightning motif—and the APT. Shot Glass Set.

It wasn’t just clothes and accessories. There was a huge variety of smaller, collectible items like the rosie photo card sets, pin buttons, and even an APT. Candle. It was pure paradise for a fans who loves a good piece of memorabilia. Every item was beautifully designed, feeling like a true extension of the ROSIE album’s aesthetic. I had to restrain myself from buying everything on sight, but my shopping bag was already getting heavy with all the merch.

The Perks of Being a Shopper

I didn’t get to take photos at the merch zone itself because I was too busy appreciating the items. The pop-up also had some pretty amazing perks for shoppers, which made me even more excited to bring home some. I ended up picking up a T-shirt, a couple of photo card sets, and a ball cap. For every 80SGD, you can get an exclusive photocard, randomly selected between version A and B. It was a thrill to collect them, knowing they were exclusive to this Singapore event.

My favorite part of the experience, though, was the Gacha Spin. For every SGD 211 spent, customers got one spin. Not only that, there are also exclusive keyrings at the pop-up. Aside from the guaranteed gift from the spin wheel, you also get a chance to win a signed CD from ROSÉ herself! The thought of getting something with her signature on it was enough to make my heart race.

Overall, visiting the ROSÉ pop-up store was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was incredible to think that it is filled with BLINKs who were just as excited as I was. The pop-up will run from August 1-31, 2025.

Oppa is Life is a page I created in 2019 when I felt the need for another virtual space to pour out my feels, musings and fangirl experiences. It started as a Facebook fanpage but I later on decided to open other social media accounts because a single Facebook page just doesn’t feel enough.
