Wheein Sets The Mood of Moomoos for First Solo Concert “Whee In The Mood”

MAMAMOO’s Wheein is all set to conquer Manila once again, this time as a soloist! The talented singer-songwriter met with media and fans at a press conference yesterday, a day before her much-awaited “Whee In The Mood [BEYOND]” concert on April 13, 2024 at the SM North EDSA Skydome, the first-ever Kpop act brought by L-Squared Productions PH.

Wheein expressed her eagerness to return to the Philippines, especially after her busy schedule with MAMAMOO in 2023. She revealed, “I missed trying Filipino food last time! This time, I really want to experience a lot, especially Crispy Pata.” This time around, she ensures everyone that she will be trying it after the press conference.

The idol also opened up about the challenges of going solo. Wheein acknowledges the added responsibility compared to performing with MAMAMOO, but finds strength in the Filipino Moomoos’ unwavering support. “Your love and requests for me to come back are the reasons the Philippines is part of the tour. Just your presence will make it unforgettable,” she shared.

Limited tickets for the concert are still available via SM Tickets outlets nationwide and their website. Good news for SVIP and VIP holders: they’ve been upgraded and will now be included in the goodbye session!

Wheein, whose real name is Jung Whee-in, debuted in 2014 as part of the powerhouse group MAMAMOO. She successfully launched her solo career in 2018 with the hit single “Easy,” featuring rapper Sik-K. Since then, she’s transitioned to THE L1VE after her contract with RBW Entertainment ended. Wheein has released two EPs and a full-length album, the latter being a 2023 release.
