“With You”: Chen Linong and Lola Amour’s New Single Transcends Borders, Produced by K-Pop Hitmaker Hyuk Shin

Warner Music announced the release of “With You” last September 19. The song is a new cross-border collaboration between rising Mandopop artist Chen Linong and acclaimed Filipino band Lola Amour. The heartfelt ballad was produced by South Korea’s Hyuk Shin, bringing together three of Asia’s most dynamic music scenes.

The song is an intimate reflection on love and longing, inspired by a letter to a former lover. Its minimalist acoustic arrangement features gentle rain samples and delicate guitar melodies, creating a stripped-down sound that puts the focus on the vocals.

Chen Linong’s clear, soulful vocals blend seamlessly with the rich, expressive voice of Lola Amour’s vocalist, Pio Dumayas. The contrast between their voices adds texture and emotional depth to the song’s narrative, showcasing their raw vulnerability.

This collaboration unites some of Asia’s most exciting musical talents. Lola Amour’s fame skyrocketed in 2023 with their smash hit “Raining in Manila,” which topped charts and earned them prestigious Awit Awards for Record of the Year and Song of the Year. The band also had the honor of sharing the stage with Coldplay during their Manila concert.

The track’s production is handled by Hyuk Shin, a multi-platinum hitmaker known for his work with artists like Justin Bieber, EXO, and NCT. He was the first Korean producer to break into the Billboard Hot 100 and brings his world-class expertise to “With You.”

For Chen Linong, one of China’s most streamed and influential young stars, this release further expands his global presence. With a devoted fanbase across Greater China and growing international recognition, he continues to blend youthful charm with vocal maturity, solidifying his status as an artist with global appeal.

“With You” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
