XIUMIN is a true multi-talented artist. Since debuting with EXO in 2012, he’s excelled as a lead vocalist, dancer, and sub-rapper. Known as the caring and funny “hyung” to his fellow members, he’s also ventured into acting, musical theater, and even sports. His versatility knows no bounds.
His path to stardom began with a 2nd place win in the 2008 SM Everysing Contest, leading him to SM Entertainment and his debut as EXO’s seventh member. From promoting in China with EXO-M to becoming a key part of EXO, XIUMIN’s dedication shone through. He further demonstrated his unique artistry as part of the popular subunit EXO-CBX.
In 2015, XIUMIN starred in the hit web drama “Falling for Challenge,” which garnered over 24 million views and earned him an award. He also sang its OST, “You Are the One,” his first solo track, and debuted in the musical “School OZ.” His big-screen debut followed in 2016 with the film “Seondal: The Man Who Sells The River.”
XIUMIN finally made his solo debut in September 2022 with the well-received EP “Brand New,” praised for its ’90s vibe. It reached #26 on the Circle Download Chart, and he won “Best Male Solo Singer” at the 2023 Korea First Brand Awards. His latest EP, “Interview X,” featuring the title track “WHEE!,” has been a global success, topping iTunes charts in multiple regions and quickly gaining millions of views.
Now, XIUMIN is embarking on his first solo fan concert tour, < X Times ( ) >, starting with a sold-out show in Seoul on March 22, 2025.
