Siloso Beach turned into the ultimate K-pop playground on August 30–31, as Waterbomb Singapore 2025 delivered two unforgettable days of music and all-out water fights. The water cannons were fun, but the artists—and the moments they created—were what truly made the weekend shine. Here’s a recap of what happened on Day 1 (August 30).
Day 1 – Saturday’s Heat
Hype it Up
The festival kicked off in the afternoon with an electrifying set from DJ Kiara and Whylucas, who quickly had the growing crowd moving to the beat on the sandy beach. The energy surged as the first Waterbomb timer went off, sending a massive burst of water soaring over the excited audience. The momentum continued with RAW, who kept the party going until the festival’s first major K-pop performance took the stage.
That special moment belonged to Sorn and Seungyeon, who were met with a warm welcome from the crowd. Their infectious smiles and natural chemistry immediately set a friendly, welcoming tone for the rest of the event. The duo delighted fans by performing a mix of their solo singles, along with standout tracks like “Helicopter” and “Black Dress” from their time with the popular group, CLC. Their highly anticipated performance was a perfect way to introduce the day’s incredible lineup of artists.
Team Bebe x Jam Republic
After an energizing start, the festival’s momentum reached new heights with the highly anticipated dance crews, Team BEBE and Jam Republic. They took the stage and delivered a stunning, high-octane showcase that had the crowd roaring, especially those in the splash zones. The two teams brought their unique styles and incredible precision to the forefront, reminding everyone why they are at the top of their game.
A standout highlight for Day 1 was a special collaborative performance between the two crews. In a jaw-dropping routine, Team BEBE and Jam Republic came together to perform Blackpink Lisa’s hit, “Fxxk Up The World.” Their synchronized moves, powerful execution, and undeniable chemistry created an unforgettable moment that perfectly blended their individual strengths.
Following the dynamic performance and a quick soak-down from another Waterbomb time, the festival’s energy was sustained by Toyo. Their set kept spirits high and the beach buzzing, ensuring the good vibes continued long into the day.
HUTA is here
By early evening, the stars everyone had been waiting for began to arrive. Huta (BTOB’s Minhyuk) bounded onstage with playful confidence, even grabbing a water cannon to spray the front rows. Huta and his signature and viral “Waterbomb body” appeared while performing some of his hit singles “Boom,” “I’m Rare” and “Tonight.” A favorite moment with Huta was when he jokingly brought up fellow BTOB member Eunkwang’s famous line, “Give Up,” and explained how the phrase became a viral sensation.
It’s time for Up & Down
Cream followed with a DJ set that turned the sand into a giant beach club before EXID powered through fan-favourite hits that had everyone singing at the top of their lungs. EXID‘s highly anticipated and rare performance at the Waterbomb festival was a major highlight of the night. The crowd was incredibly hyped by the group’s catchy songs, especially their performances of hits like “DDD,” “L.I.E,” “Hot Pink,” and the smash hit, “Up & Down.”
SHINee’s Minho and Taemin
As the sky deepened to purple, Advanced kept the festival alive with a vibrant set, then Minho of SHINee won hearts with his trademark charm and easy grin. Minho performed some of Shawol’s favorite solos including “Call Back,” “Affection” and “Body Rhythm.”
Following a fun set from Raiden, Taemin brought the first night to a spectacular close. His magnetic stage presence captivated the crowd as he delivered powerful performances of his solo hits, including “Move,” “Sexy in the Air,” “Guilty,” and “Advice.” The entire beach erupted in screams for the grand finale when he surprised everyone by performing SHINee’s iconic song, “View,” joined by his fellow group member, Minho.
