BLACKPINK’S “Deadline” Hits Manila: Inside the Must-Visit Pop-Up Store at SM Mall of Asia

The “Blackpink” fever has officially moved from the digital charts to the physical world. Following the explosive release of their latest extended play (EP), “Deadline,” the global K-pop icons have brought their exclusive themed pop-up store to the heart of the Philippines.

Located on the third floor of the North Entertainment Mall at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, the store opened its doors on Saturday, February 28. Since its opening, BLINKs from across the country have been immersed in the “Deadline” era.

A Visual Wonderland for BLINKs

The pop-up is a full blown experience. The venue is decked out in the new EP’s signature aesthetic, featuring larger-than-life photo walls and curated displays. Fans are encouraged to bring their lightsticks or purchase one from the store and wear their best “Pink” outfits, as the store provides the perfect backdrop for social media-ready snapshots.

What’s in Store?

The highlight for many visitors is the collection of official merchandise, much of which is available in limited quantities. The store’s merchandise lineup is headlined by the highly sought-after Character Collection, featuring plush dolls of each member’s animal counterpart—Sooya (Jisoo), Gomdeuki (Jennie), Rosie (Rosé), and Ppeu (Lisa). Beyond these collectibles, fans can shop a variety of functional lifestyle and apparel items like shirts, bags and wallets.

While the pop-up celebrates the “Deadline” release, physical copies of the album will be available on March 13.

To sweeten the deal, the pop-up is offering a special incentive for a minimum single-receipt purchase of ₱2,500, which entitles fans to a special giveaway, one random postcard from an exclusive four-member set. These postcards are limited edition and feature never-before-seen concepts from the the”Deadline” jacket shoot.
