LenaMiu Emerge as History Makers in the PH GL Scene

‘Lena’ Lorena Schuett and ‘Miu’ Natsha Taechamongkalapiwat, more popularly known as the on-screen GL couple LenaMiu brought their two-day fan meeting to a close at the UP Theater with more than 2,000 seating capacity on May 23-24, 2026, drawing a strong turnout from their fanbase known as the GumberBears (GBBs).

Presented as a back-to-back event by Wish Us Luck, the fan meeting highlighted the pair’s growing popularity in the Girls’ Love scene under Channel One31, while also reinforcing their close on- and off-screen chemistry that has resonated with international audiences.

The event leaned heavily into interactive segments and fan participation, with the duo engaging the crowd through lighthearted challenges such as “Say It Without Words,” game where they demonstrated what fans described as near “twin telepathy” due to their quick, coordinated responses. The segment drew loud reactions from the audience, who filled the venue with chants and playful teasing, including calls of “Lena selosa!”

Despite the high energy, the atmosphere repeatedly shifted into more intimate and reflective moments as the pair interacted with fans through Q&A portions and storytelling segments.

“It’s very amazing how we actually met. I’m pretty sure we are one in a million,” said Lena.

Meanwhile, Miu shared a more casual moment about their online interactions with fans, noting how even small gestures, such as reposting content, had become meaningful exchanges with their audience. “I saw you guys screenshot my story then she reposts it. It’s amazing” Miu added, drawing cheers from the crowd.

Lena also recalled their earlier days, revealing that Miu had consistently greeted her during their college years, a detail that fans received warmly as part of the duo’s backstory of familiarity that predates their public rise.

Both artists performed “Pano,” by  Zack Tabudlo joining fans in a sing-along that filled the theater with sustained audience participation. Meanwhile, Miu delivered a cover of Tabudlo’s “Give Me Your Forever,” which shifted the tone of the venue into a more subdued and emotional atmosphere.

A standout moment of the night involved a selected fan being invited onstage to sing “The Coconut Song” alongside the duo, a segment that combined humor and spontaneity and became one of the most talked-about interactions of the event.

Fan engagement extended beyond performances, with organized projects inside the venue including banners, standees, balloons, and fan-made giveaways prepared by GBBs.

In one of the more lighthearted exchanges, Lena jokingly addressed the crowd’s enthusiasm, saying, “Save your voices for the rest of the night!” as fans continued to respond with sustained energy throughout the program.

She also acknowledged the impact of her Filipino supporters, stating, “The Filipino fans taught me to be an extrovert. You guys are so talented!”

GBBs experienced official fan benefits such as fan signing, photo opportunities, and private interactions. The event concluded with hi-bye sessions between LenaMiu and fans, underscoring the strong reception of their Manila fan meeting. Beyond performances and games, the gathering highlighted the growing connection between the duo and their international fanbase, particularly in the Philippines, where audience engagement remained a defining feature of the two-day event.
