Paving their way into the music scene, twelve-member PPOP boy group ASTER, under AsterisK Entertainment, recently debuted with their single “BINGO.” Composed of members Kean, Charlie, Tatin, Gee, Alas, Laurence, Wayne, Loyd, Kiel, Gem, Miguel, and Cray, the group is ready to make their mark with their unique blend of retro and 80’s funk music.
“BINGO”: A Journey of Dreams and Determination

When asked about the concept behind their debut single, Tatin shared, “Yung digital single po namin is about yung journey namin and our experiences during our training days. Yung song po namin is all about it. Since lahat po kami galing sa survival show and some of us from the former group Zion. Through our song ‘Bingo,’ we achieved that goal and sana po mainspire kayo na mapakinggan yung song kasi maganda po yung song.”
The song reflects their personal experiences and the challenges they faced during their training, making it a relatable and inspiring anthem for their fans.
The “Flower Star” Concept
While their debut single leans towards retro and 80’s funk, Miguel revealed that the group plans to explore various music genres in the future, “Yung debut single namin na ‘Bingo’ is more on retro and 80’s funk pero sana sa future, binabalak namin na iexplore lahat ng music genres para magawa namin yung concept namin na ‘flower star’ na kayang gawin lahat.”
This “flower star” concept showcases their versatility and ambition to conquer different musical styles, promising a diverse and exciting discography in the years to come.
Debut Goals and Message to Fans
For ASTER, their debut is more than just a performance. It’s an opportunity to share their talent and passion with the world. “Ang goal lang po namin sa debut namin is to really share what we can offer sa music industry,” they expressed.
They also hope to inspire their fans, especially their BAEBIES, to take risks and embrace the unknown, just like in the game of bingo. “And just like our debut song bingo, our message to our fans especially to our BAEBIES, to take a risk no matter what the results are. Gaya ng bingo, di natin alam kung mananalo tayo or matatalo,” they explained.
Sharing Love and Inspiration
ASTER aims to be a source of inspiration for their fans, and they plan to reciprocate the love and support they receive. “I’m sure yung grupo po namin, we are aiming to become an inspiration sa lahat. Kami as an idol, we are also inspired sa mga fans namin and gagawin namin hanggang dulo yung dapat namin gawin kasi naniniwala kaming kung pano nila kami ininspire, magagawa rin namin kung pano namin sila maiinspire,” Kean, the group’s leader shared.
