Hallyuniverse: Revibe

Revibe on your favorite Kdrama OSTs and Kpop songs from different eras of the K-community? The Hallyuniverse: Revibe just recently proved that everyone’s welcome in the Hallyuniverse as long as you are a Kpop fan and you love your oppa and unnie!

The HallyUniverse6: ReVibe! is a mix of retro-future as they celebrate the pop culture of Korea by providing Kpop fans a new experience during summer. Kpop fans, shops, fan clubs and the line-up of performers take over the venue (UP Sunken Garden) last April 27, 2019.

Everybody danced into the beat of our all-time favorite Kpop group songs from the 1st gen down to the newly debuted artists. They welcome you with a mini raffle giving out some cute items from KNK Philippines.

Of course. what’s a Kpop event without fan clubs? Some of our awesome fellow fan clubs joined the fun and some of them includes: KNK Philippines, IZ*ONE Philippines, April Philippines, Gugudan Philippines, Mamamoo Philippines, Sechskies Philippines, BTOB Philippines, TXTPH – Tomorrow X Together Philippines, Kim Soo Hyun Philippines Fan Club, ASTRO Philippines, Lee Dong Wook Philippines, Yoo Seung Ho Pilipinas Fan Club, Nam Joo Hyuk Philippines and Kim So Hyun Philippines.

Fan clubs were giving out free items like photocards and pins and some are selling official and fanmade merchandise of their represented group. We roamed around and saw how artistic fan clubs can be as they made sure that each booth will stand out and provide the coolest fangirl and fanboy experience for all the attendees.

More than the other fan clubs, we highly appreciate the aesthetics of how Kim So Hyun Philippines even managed to create beautiful puzzle pieces of the actress on their booth as a display.

We found plenty of merchandise that’s up for grab and to start off, here are some cute bubble head stickers and pins that shout outs your fandom! Through the years, the creativity of fanmade merchandise has already evolved and it excites the fans further as they are the ones who will be purchasing and using the items!

Moreover, it was nice to see that there are plenty of albums from different eras getting sold on the venue. From Rain’s Basic album to the latest ones, fans surely enjoyed the discounted prices of sealed and pre-loved albums.

Oh! and here come some fanmade merchandises like headbands, lanyards, pins and stickers. Some of them are actually prices for those who joined the games and items eventually starts as low as 5 pesos only! Isn’t it a steal?

Also, HallyUniverse6: ReVibe! is a mix of retro-future as they celebrate the pop culture of Korea by providing Kpop fans a new experience during summer. Kpop fans, shops, fan clubs and the line-up of performers take over the venue (UP Sunken Garden) last April 27, 2019. They prepared games so that fans would enjoy the event as much as the event committee enjoyed preparing it.

If you are pretty much on the cultural experience, HallyUP also prepared a hanbok experience wherein you can wear a Hanbok and take photos! This is a good way for you to appreciate their aesthetics and culture in terms of their traditional attire.

One of the reasons why we love this event is that they catered fans from the rookies up to the sunbaenims! An example is the TXT PH fan club and the Sechskies Philippine fan club all gathered in a single place for the fans to get to know them better!

Everybody danced into the beat of our all-time favorite Kpop group songs from the 1st gen down to the newly debuted artists. This special event is co-presented by HallyUP in partnership with Globe. The best part of this event? It’s free admission!

Oppa is Life is a fan page created in 2019 when I felt the need for another virtual space to pour out my feels, musings and fangirl experiences. It started as a Facebook fanpage but I later on decided to open other social media accounts because a single Facebook page just doesn’t feel enough.
