K-Pop Group ‘In A Minute’ Holds Successful First Manila Fanmeeting

“Unbox What You Want” as the rising K-pop trio “In A Minute” unboxed the excitement at their Manila fan meeting, dubbed “IAM READY Fan Gathering,” held last April 11th at Robinsons Galleria. The event, a special treat for their Filipino fanbase, offered unforgettable moments, including group photos and an exclusive fansigning session.

The energy soared as Jaejun, Hyunyeop, and Juntae took the stage, launching the event with their debut track, “Unbox.” Each member charmed the audience with their individual introductions. Jaejun delivered his now-signature line, playfully declaring, “Ako po si Jaejun ng In A Minute. Gusto ko maging prinsipe sa Pilipinas” (I am Jaejun of In A Minute. I want to be a prince in the Philippines).

Hyunyeop followed with a heartfelt “Ako po si Hyunyeop, mahal ko kayo.” (I am Hyunyeop, I love you all). Juntae, experiencing Manila for the first time, delighted fans by introducing himself in Filipino, stating, “Ako po si Juntae, gusto ko po maging superstar sa Pilipinas” (I am Juntae, I want to be a superstar in the Philippines).

The warm welcome from their enthusiastic INNINGs continued as In A Minute unveiled two unreleased tracks, “Tell Me Why” and “Gravity,” sending waves of excitement through the venue. The crowd’s cheers reached fever pitch when the group delivered a powerful rendition of TAN‘s “Heartbeat.” For Jaejun and Hyunyeop, the Philippines holds a special connection, having previously toured the country as members of the project group TAN. Juntae, a talented singer-songwriter within the trio, also boasts a prior collaboration with Jaejun as the duo JT&Marcus.

As the fan meeting drew to a close, In A Minute performed “What You Want,” another gem from their debut single “Unboxing What You Wanted.” The audience’s calls for an encore were answered with a performance of “Where You At,” the Korean version OST of “Finding Santos,” an upcoming Korean-Filipino film by SBTown slated for release this September.
