The much-anticipated anime adaptation of “Look Back,” from acclaimed “Chainsaw Man” creator Tatsuki Fujimoto, is set to hit Philippine cinemas on August 28. The film features the voices of Yūmi Kawai (“Plan 75”) and Mizuki Yoshida (“Alice in Borderland”) as the lead characters Fujino and Kyomoto.

The original “Look Back” manga was a massive hit in Japan, garnering over 4 million reads within two days of its release. The film adaptation has also seen immense success, grossing more than 1 billion yen in less than 20 days in Japan.
The film has received rave reviews from critics. Screen Rant praised the film’s animation, direction, and writing, calling it an early contender for the best anime film of 2024.
