The K-Pop scene is getting a serious injection of rock energy as QWER, the powerhouse South Korean girl band that has been taking the industry by storm, officially brings their first-ever world tour, <ROCKATION>, to Singapore. If you haven’t been following their meteoric rise, this quartet has redefined what it means to be a project idol band by blending digital influence with genuine instrumental talent.
Formed under the creative direction of Tamago Productions, QWER is far from a typical idol group. They are a fully functional rock unit that made a massive splash upon their debut on October 18, 2023, with the single album Harmony from Discord.
The band is comprised of four distinct talents: Chodan on drums, Hina on guitar, Magenta on bass, and Siyeon on guitar and vocals. Their unique synergy and rapid growth have already earned them significant industry recognition, most notably a nomination for Best Band Performance at the 2025 MAMA Awards, cementing their status as a top-tier act in the Korean music scene.
Bawiges in Singapore have much to celebrate, as this marks the band’s first-ever performance in the Lion City. The concert is scheduled for 28 February 2026, at the Theatre at Mediacorp.
