What’s in for you at Oppa Chicken Restaurant?

Chicken is one of my favorite food and in terms of the flavor, Koreans know how to do their marinates and flavors very well so I trust them a lot whenever we talk about fried chicken. Currently, Oppa chicken made it on the list of my faves.

Ambiance

I’ve tried two branches of Oppa chicken already. The first one is in BGC The fort strip and the other one is in Ayala Malls Circuit Makati. Both maintains a rustic fine dining look with a bit of a usual Korean night out place where you order chicken and beer. Perhaps, in the Philippines, it’s gotta be chicken and rice kind of dining experience.

When we visited the place, there were people caroling around the vicinity and entering each restaurant and it’s nice that they allowed them to do that. They decorated the place a lot depending on the season too.

One thing that constantly happens is that their time of serving takes pretty long even when you only order chicken. I’m also disappointed because when I first tried to eat here, they have side dishes included in our order but now, you need to separately order it.

Taste wise, go for their best sellers, they obviously know how to do their chicken very well. It’s tasty and crispy on the outside and tender inside.

Ella’s Recommendation

Chicken is great and if you are coming with a team, then the price is right but if you are coming alone, you would spend around 300 for just rice and two piece chicken so I don’t think it’s gotta be worth it.

Oppa is Life is a fan page created in 2019 when I felt the need for another virtual space to pour out my feels, musings and fangirl experiences. It started as a Facebook fanpage but I later on decided to open other social media accounts because a single Facebook page just doesn’t feel enough.
