Wendy’s final stop of her debut solo world tour, <W:EALIVE>, held at the New Frontier Theater on January 17, 2026, solidified her reputation as a premier K-pop all-rounder. The Red Velvet star delivered a performance that seamlessly blended vocal power with genuine emotional depth, reminding fans exactly why she remains a standout figure in the industry.
From the moment the lights dimmed, the energy in the theater was electric. Wendy started the night with an explosive trio: “Fireproof”, “Hate²”, and “Queen of the Party”. Hearing her hit those high notes live is something you should experience at least once in your life, but we had it more than once that night.
Kumusta, Manila?!
She greeted the crowd with a bright “Kumusta, Manila?! This is Wendy from Red Velvet! Welcome to W:ealive” and explained that “W:EALIVE” is a beautiful fusion of “Wendy” and “We Alive,” representing her desire to breathe and exist through music alongside her fans.
The night was filled with moments that made every ReVeluv happy. Wendy didn’t just stay on stage, she made the entire venue her home, throwing jokes and having “kulitan time” with her fans. During one of her segments, she serenaded the crowd with “Why Can’t You Love Me” and “Best Ever”. Who could ever forget when she started singing “Like Water” and “When This Rain Stops”? Well, those songs made Wendy the soloist we never thought we needed as those are the songs that were included in her first solo album.
Pinoy food talks with Wendy

One of the most viral highlights from the night was Wendy’s hilarious and sweet Pinoy food talks. She shared that she ate Jollibee meal and adobo. She struggled to pronounce “Llao Llao,” calling it “yo-yo” instead, while sharing that she wants to have a taste of it next time. When the crowd chanted “Walang uuwi!” (No one is going home!), she tried her best to repeat it, melting hearts with her adorable “huhuwe” attempt.
Wendy explained every song that she performed that night and why she needs to put it in the setlist. She told the fans that she went through it with her members and the ReVeluvs in mind. She even added some of the K-Drama OSTs like “Goodbye” from The Beauty Inside, “If I Could Read Your Mind” from Yumi’s Cells and “두 글자” (Two Words) from Start-up.
The fans prepared a surprise fan video for Wendy and she was touched. In return, Wendy read a handwritten letter she prepared after the end of the soundcheck.
A message for the fans

“My dearest Manila ReVeluvs and fans. Today as I stand here for the final time of this worlds tour, it was overflowing with gratitude. This journey that began on Korea on September 20th, finds it’s most beautiful ending here, with all of you today. When I stepped on the stage with Red Velvet, I discovered what truly happiness felt like.
As I released my solo albums, watching my all songs come true to life one by one, a quiet dream grows in my heart, a dream of having my own stage, my own moment. These past four months have been that dream realized, and they will forever remain the most luminous chapter of my life. They say that (as a) singer, my purpose is to touch hearts and bring joy through music, but the truth is, you have been the ones filling my heart.
You have given me more love, more strength, more light that I’ve ever imagined possible. On this stage, surrounded by your voices, I have felt whole, I have felt truly, deeply alive. I know I still have so much to learn and so far to grow, but I promise you this, I will carry this love you you’ve given me, like a torch, lighting and guiding me forward, and 2026, I will return to you more often, closer, better, because this isn’t goodbye, this is just the beginning of our next chapter together. Until that day comes, please take care of yourself, stay healthy, stay happy, and know that you’re loving beyond measure, I love you, thank you for everything”.
She also shared a letter for all the people behind her first world tour. Wendy made sure that she just not reached every fan’s heart but also reached them on where they are seated as she walked around the venue, waving and giving her biggest smile.
Presented by L-Squared Productions, WENDY 1st World Tour <W:EALIVE> ended in Manila but the love that everyone has for Wendy will never end.
