A solo con in Manila that’s 15 years in the making.
Pink waves illuminated the halls of UP Theater as APINK reunited with Filipino fans for a nostalgia-filled night in Manila, closing the curtain on its “The Origin: APINK” Asia tour on May 10. The concert marks two achievements for Filipino Pink Pandas—this leg is the finale of the group’s 15th-year Asia tour and their very first solo concert in the country —definitely a dream come true and a win for Filo fans!
The much-awaited Manila concert
To see the members Chorong, Bomi, Eunji, Namjoo and Hayoung—finally in a solo stage— is indeed a dream come true for everyone. From the moment fans entered the venue, the atmosphere radiated excitement as concertgoers arrived in coordinated pink outfits, waving banners and glowing Panda bongs, transforming the theater into a huge playground for the fans. It’s the first solo concert of APINK in Manila, but at the same time, it’s a reunion for Filipino Pink Pandas who patiently waited for this moment to happen in the Philippines.

Reunion of Filo Pandas
Hours before the show, the UP Theater also transformed into a space for fans to exchange fan gifts, excitement and laughters. If it took 15 years for APINK to have a solo concert in Manila, it is also the same length of bond that the fans made in this fandom. It’s been 3 years since the group last visited the Philippines for a multi-act show and you can totally feel the excitement that this show brought for everyone.
Fan-led activities added another layer to the event, with Filipino fan communities organizing photocard trading areas, support booths, giveaways, and interactive projects around the venue. The initiatives reflected not only the dedication of Filo Pink Pandas but also the sense of camaraderie that has flourished within the fandom over the years.

A playlist we grew up with
Throughout “The Origin,” Apink delivered a setlist steeped in nostalgia, tracing the group’s musical evolution from its bright debut-era sound to its more current wave of music.
Pink Pandas sang along to signature hits including “I Don’t Know,” “BUBIBU,” “My My,” “NoNoNo” and “Mr. Chu,” while erupting in cheers for later-era favorites such as “I’m So Sick,” “Dumhdurum,” “Dilemma” and “%% (EungEung).” Emotional stages of “Remember,” “Only One,” “The Wave,” “15th Season” and “Moment” further underscored the group’s enduring artistry and emotional connection with fans across generations.
This is the first time the Philippines heard “Love Me More,” and we released this song hoping that Pandas will love themselves more. We also hope that this is a time that we love each other more and love ourselves better. – Eunji

Following the Manila stop, Apink shared a heartfelt message on its official Instagram, expressing gratitude to fans who have remained by the group’s side throughout its 15-year journey.
“15년 동안 우리를 한결같이 비춰 준 빛, 판다🐼. Thank you, Manila 💓,” the group wrote, translating to: “To the Pink Pandas who have continuously shone their light on us for 15 years 🐼. Thank you, Manila 💓.”

A message of love for the Pandas
Before the group closes their first solo concert in Manila, the members shared a message of love for the fans.
Giving love is important, but how I receive love is also important. All the love I receive from the Pink Pandas, I keep it in my mind and my body… Commemorating our 15th anniversary, holding our first solo concert in the Philippines is very meaningful to us. Today, even from the beginning, the cheers were too loud that I couldn’t hear my in-ear. – Chorong
“This is our very first solo concert in the Philippines, right? Your cheers from beginning to the end is very loud so I am very excited to be here. The energy is so loud that I cannot believe that it is already the end of the show. I actually want to remember the energy we received today so when there are hard times for me, I can remember this moment. You guys should also remember the good times we had tonight, right? I love you so much! Eyyyy.” – Bomi
