K-Culture Krawl: Go Woon Hanbok Rental Shop in Glorietta Makati

With the popularity of Korean culture around the globe, even major malls in the Philippines like AyalaMalls decided to join the Hallyu wave with their promotions on #FeedYourSeoul.

As well, one of their major projects is the “K-town” located at the top of the Glo where they showcase some of the major Korean structures, Korean restaurants, coffee shops and their latest Hanbok rental shop!

What to expect at Go Woon Hanbok Rental Shop?

No need to go to Seoul, renting a Hanbok for a photoshoot is now easier and convenient with a shop that allows you to rent a hanbok at an affordable price. They have numerous choices and variety of designs so I am pretty sure that there’s one that will suit your style.

Sizes

The Hanboks available at the shop includes designs for male, female adults and even for children. There are costumes that comes in various sizes so there will surely be one that will fit you or your kids. The costume for the kids are highly suggested especially for school events or shoots.

Designs

If you are a fan of traditional Kdramas, you probably have seen Hanboks in different designs depending on the status of the person who is wearing the costume. For an instance, you can try to wear the common colorful designs or the onces with intricate embroideries they often use for ceremonies.

Rental Fee

The rental fees for the Hanboks differ depending on how long you plan to use it. If you are just using it within Glorietta, the rate is smaller than when you rent it for outside events. There is also a security deposit of 1,000 pesos if renting it outside the mall.

Accessories

To complete your very Korean Look, the shop also allows you to use accessories for your outfits. If you watch Kdramas, you’ll see a lot of these accessories depending on the occassion.

They currently offer a discounted rental fee for hanbok if you have purchases from neighboring cafe and restaurant.
