It’s a green light! YGIG signals comeback with a special concert

Rookie P-pop group and SBTown’s 1st girl group YGIG (You Go, I Go) recently made a comeback with their “Green Light: Going All The Way Comeback Concert” last August 6, 2023 at the SM North EDSA Skydome.

The fans are in full energy as they wait for JM, Vien, Jewel, Hazelyn, Maeg, and Alexei to take over the stage for this comeback concert. YGIG opened the night with a thrilling performance of “BB” and welcomed WeGo (YGIG’s fandom name) on their first ever comeback concert.

They went all out with an explosive dance cover of LALISA’s “Money”, followed by unit performances. Double J (JM and Jewel) showcased their rap skills with memorable lines “Kami naman, Babae naman ang nasa harapan” (It’s our turn. Girls will lead the way).

Following, Team AM (Alexei and Maeg) showcased their flawless dance skills while VieLyn (Vien and Hazelyn) showcased their vocal prowess with a cover of Regine Velasquez-Alcasid’s “Dadalhin” which captivated the audience.

Ken San Jose, their special guest performed “Tago” and a self-written and unreleased song which he dedicates for the audience. YGIG then performed Taylor Swift’s “Enchanted” and it is a song that they dedicated to WeGo. The group kept their energy with the performance of “Doob Doob” and their latest single “IDKY”.

Darlene Vibares, former YGIG member, delivered a feel-god pop performance of Madison Beer’s “Reckless” and Ariana Grande’s “Everytime”. She showed her support to her “Ate’s” (sisters) for their first ever comeback concert.

She also announced that she will have her solo debut soon with a possibility of a solo debut concert. The last special guest is SBTown’s rookie boy group PLUUS with a newly released single last week “Missing You”.

They congratulated YGIG for their comeback concert and performed a medley cover of BTS songs including “Not Today” and “Fire”. They also performed their songs “My Time” which describes their experiences from pre-debut training up to now and a hype song “Like A Bird” which is still unreleased.

YGIG heated the stage with a vibrant and fiery performance of “Touch Down” together with the live band and the girls interacted with the fans while performing Maymay’s “AMAKABOGERA”. They encouraged WeGo to sing along with them as they sing their debut single “SHABA SHABA”.

WeGo made a surprised birthday event for Alexei who celebrated her birthday on the day of the concert. YGIG thanked their fans for continuously supporting their music and ended their successful comeback concert with a YGIG medley.
