“Joong” Archen Aydin and “Dunk” Natachai Boonprasert collectively known as “JoongDunk” was the first couple who embraced the stage for the GMMTV Fanday 8. They came out on the stage performing “First Love” by Nont Tanont who became a go-to song cover by different GMMTV Artists.

The GMMTV Fanday is one the of the most-anticipated events not just in Bangkok, Thailand but also in Asian countries like South Korea, Japan, Cambodia. Now kicking off in Manila for the first time, the GMMTV FanDay8 debuted last November 18 at the Podium Hall.

Filipino Dungjangs greeted them with the famous loud ”Filipino Cheers” that the event turned out to be a legit fun “party” even if the show is just starting! They had a short interview about work experiences, personal achievements including Dunk’s recent graduation. Also, Dunk shared a TMI when they got arrived in the Philippines.

“We left Bangkok at 8pm then we arrived here at the Philippines at 11pm. The first thing i ate was the Chicken. Your chicken here is the best.

Dunk shared how much he loves Jollibee’s chicken.

Joong also showed how he is good when performing, they did “sample” of Dum Dum performance in LOL Fanfest.

Performances and Games

Another surprised they prepared for the fans is a quick performance of SB19’s “Gento.” They also had the Art Corner wherein they drew their partner’s faces and 2 lucky fans received it. Joong drew Dunk prettily like having cat ears since Dunk is a cat person while Dunk drew Joong like an abstract drawing.

Joong performed “Let’s Try” (Only Friends OST), he did the acapella version of the chorus part while Dunk performed Rock and Star (My School President OST). Dunk also shared that the first song choice he thought he will performed was “Please Be Mine” by Fourth and he asked the audience to do the dance challange of that song.

After their solo performances they were asked to do the Nae Nae Dance Challenge. The crowd also dance with them as Joong said he will post it on Tiktok.

Fan Projects for JoongDunk

They also watched a Fan Project video from the Filo Dungjangs. Fans held a banner and Dunk read it out loud saying “Wherever you choose to, Dungjangs will always bloom with you.”

Dunk

To end the show, they performed “No More Empty Nights”, their Our Skyy 2 OST as their last performance. GMMTV Fanday 8 is presented to us by CDM Entertainment.
