The Pinoy pride and P-POP boy group SB19 headlined the vibrant “Pistang Pinoy sa Korea 2024” held last June 9th at the Busan Eurasia Platform outdoor square in Busan, South Korea.
The event, a joint celebration by the Philippine Embassy in Korea and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), marked several important occasions: the 126th Philippine Independence Day, the 29th National Migrant Workers Day, and the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Korea.
The festival served as a joyous gathering place for Filipino workers and immigrants residing in Korea. The energy skyrocketed when SB19 took the stage, belting out their chart-topping hits including the viral sensation “Gento,” the crowd favorite “Crimzone,” and the emotional ballad “Liham.”
Following their performance, SB19 expressed their gratitude through social media: “Mabuhay ang Pinoy! 🇵🇠Grateful to have celebrated our 126th Independence Day & National Migrant Workers Day with our kababayans [countrymen] in Pistang Pinoy sa Korea 2024.
