SB19 Headlines ‘Pistang Pinoy sa Korea’ 2024

The Pinoy pride and P-POP boy group SB19 headlined the vibrant “Pistang Pinoy sa Korea 2024” held last June 9th at the Busan Eurasia Platform outdoor square in Busan, South Korea.

The event, a joint celebration by the Philippine Embassy in Korea and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), marked several important occasions: the 126th Philippine Independence Day, the 29th National Migrant Workers Day, and the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Korea.

The festival served as a joyous gathering place for Filipino workers and immigrants residing in Korea. The energy skyrocketed when SB19 took the stage, belting out their chart-topping hits including the viral sensation “Gento,” the crowd favorite “Crimzone,” and the emotional ballad “Liham.”

Following their performance, SB19 expressed their gratitude through social media: “Mabuhay ang Pinoy! 🇵🇭 Grateful to have celebrated our 126th Independence Day & National Migrant Workers Day with our kababayans [countrymen] in Pistang Pinoy sa Korea 2024. Thank you for the warm welcome and for embracing our music and culture. We’ll cherish these memories forever! Maraming salamat sa inyong suporta! [Thank you very much for your support!]”

The event wasn’t just about SB19. The stellar lineup boasted other popular artists known for captivating audiences in both Korea and the Philippines, including HORI7ON, Zack Tabudlo, Esay Belanio, and Zephanie.
