Last November 24, 2024, the iconic K-pop idol, Taemin, captivated Filipino fans with his stunning performance at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Part of his 2024 TAEMIN WORLD TOUR [Ephemeral Gaze], the concert was a visual and auditory feast that left the audience spellbound.

Taemin graced the Big Dome with his talent, charisma and captivating stage presence. A simple yet elegant stage was set and matched every song that he performed that night. He started the show with “Déjà vu”, “Guilty”, “Advice” and “Goodbye”.

You can feel the warm welcome of Filipino TAEMates and Shawols by the sound of the cheers inside the venue, not to mention that it was literally shaking because of everyone’s excitement as they hyped up Taemin during his short speech. He even said that he’s happy to hear everyone’s screams.

His flawless vocals left the audience in awe as he continued the show with some of his hits like “IDEA”, “Heaven”, “Clockwork”, “The Unknown Sea” and “Blue”. He even asked the fans what are their favorite ballad of him as well as what song made them a fan.

The crowd shouted his songs like “Press Your Number” and “Hypnosis”, but SHINee songs like “Ring Ding Dong”, “Replay”, “Don’t Call Me” and “Lucifer” caught his ears and even sang a bit of those. He even said that he was amazed since Ring Ding Dong is a fourteen year old song! It just shows that SHINee and Taemin were well-loved since their debut. His interaction with the crowd, expressing his gratitude and love for his Filipino fans, made the bond between him and his fans even stronger.

The night continued with powerful performances of “G.O.A.T”, “Sexy in The Air”, and the most awaited “Move” and “Want. Each song highlighted Taemin’s artistic side and passion for music and performing.
As the concert is ending near, the audience was left wanting more, and he didn’t disappoint them as he went back on stage for the encore.

Taemin’s Ephemeral Gaze tour in Manila was a proof of his popularity and ability to give unforgettable performances. It was a night filled with mixed emotions and unforgettable memories, not only for the TAEMates, but also for the whole group’s fandom, Shawols.
