Framing my Happiness kdrama signed poster: Where to buy your framing needs?

I have a number of Korean drama-hand-signed posters at home. To name a few, my favorites are the posters from So I Married The Anti-Fan, Imitation, Live On, She Would Never Know, Lost, Idol: The Coup.

I also got My Roommate Is A Gumiho, which I gifted to a friend. But the most unexpected one arrived at home just before February ends and that’s totally unexpected, it’s the Happiness signed poster!

What triggered me to have this framed?

Well, Han Hyo Joo is one of the many actresses that I grew up watching. I can no longer count how many times I’ve seen her in Dong Yi because my grandmother watched that non-stop when she started to have memory loss.

But the biggest reason is that it is Park Hyung Sik, and that alone is enough. I am a fan of Z;EA ever since they debuted and I’ve been fangirling on all of them ever since the days when they used to have excessive eyeliners on their MVs.

Too bad I never really had the chance to see them when they visited Philippines, even when Park Hyung Sik came to the Philippines for Bench promotions. I don’t remember what on Earth am I doing at that time but too bad that I didn’t make it.

I am not really a fan of zombie dramas but this drama hits different. It is more of a parasite-predator story in a common scenario, which is home. From the poster itself, Happiness with the blurred ‘ness,’ it taught me to appreciate the things I normally take for granted.

‘Happiness’ gave me happiness every time I see Seo Yoon, Yi Hyun and Sae Bom but my blood pressure totally skyrockets to the limit watching the drama most of time. Despite only having 12 episodes, I totally recommended the drama to everyone I knew but what’s so special about it is that it is a zombie-related drama but it highlighted what ‘humanity’ is during a crisis.

If Sae Bom and Yi Hyun have their portrait photos framed on their wall, now, I have their poster too to remind me to be happy and appreciate the little things. I think seeing the poster hanging on my wall everyday would just remind me of that feeling, a mix of excitement and happiness too.

Where did you get your poster?

It was given to me as a gift.

Where did you buy your frame?

This poster is pretty oversized compared to the regular signed posters I have. To be exact, this is the biggest signed poster I have to date so I had the frame customized at MJ Arts And Frames.

I just came across his account on Facebook marketplace and he was kind enough to discuss the pricing and all with me. This frame is only 1250 pesos, including the matting already.

The frame only took about half a day for him to finish it and I am super satisfied with the result. You may also visit their shop at Pasilio 9 Dry goods section, New central market, Quezon Boulevard, Santa Cruz Manila. Afterwards, it was picked up through Grab car. The framed poster is now with my other kdrama merch!

Oppa is Life is a fan page created in 2019 when I felt the need for another virtual space to pour out my feels, musings and fangirl experiences. It started as a Facebook fanpage but I later on decided to open other social media accounts because a single Facebook page just doesn’t feel enough.
