It’s time to take a rest, meet Soopy and take a tour of the camping-like set-up of In The Soop Pop-Up in Metro Manila, which recently opened at Level 1, South Main Mall, SM Mall of Asia last July 1, 2022.
Just to give you a heads up, this is a pop-up store so expect that the store will only run until October 1 unless they announce extension!
What’s In The Soop Pop-Up?
In The Soop, which literally means “In The Forest” is a Korean variety series created by Hybe (previously Big Hit Entertainment) where groups including BTS (BTS in the Soop) and (Seventeen in the Soop) took a break away from their busy idol schedules and had a vacation at the ‘Soop,’ a remote and peaceful vacation villa connected to nature.
If you are a CARAT, ARMY, or simply a fan of aesthetic things, then here are some of the official merchandise and the fancy things that you’ll totally appreciate at the In The Soop Pop-Up:
Welcome to the Soop
We are pretty sure that you’ll gonna love how aesthetic and refreshing the theme of the store is. From the green back-to-nature feel that the display gives to the little details like the cute flowery stickers to add accent to the wallpaper.
Soopy, being the representative of In The Soop, got its own photo zone that will surely hype your excitement to visit the store! The photo zone is located at the main entrance of the mall.
The minimalistic designs
In addition, the apparels and accessories are of a different level! As a fan of simple graphic prints and useful, easy-to-carry pouches and stuff, it’s a sure thing that you will love the minimalist yet classy designs of their products.
There are shirts, jogger pants and shorts that are perfect for casual gatherings and jackets are perfect for special occasions and hiking. Even if it is a bit pricey, the quality of the shirt and print is premium so it’s a sure thing that you’ll get to use it for a long time. The best thing that I noticed is that even if you are a passerby and not really a fan or haven’t watched In The Soop yet, you will still gonna love the apparels here.
There are numerous camping must-haves too like the wallets, straps, bags, beanies, aprons, bucket hats and more!
Seventeen Theme
Given that the In The Soop Pop-Up in Korea has a limited collection of Seventeen-themed products, expect a little lesser selection for this at the pop-up in the Philippines. Still, I am grateful that they have photocards and postcards– something fans like us always wanted to see of course! More than that, we got to see a number of merchandises that is not available on weverse and only exclusive to Pop-Up stores. I even bought a items here to gift my friends!
BTS Theme
Ranging from In The Soop 1 to 2 series, selected merchandises are available at the Pop-Up. More than that, we get to see new items weekly as the store regularly adds new merchandises every weekend. However, since the store has a limited quantity for each item, you can expect some of them to be sold-out in just a few days.
The Permission to dance and Tinytan Zone
Another special to this store, the Permission to Dance and Tinytan has a mini precious space where merchandises from BTS pop-up stores are currently displayed. You can get your favorite shirts, pillows, slippers, keyrings and other items from the Boy with Luv, DNA, Fake Love and Idol era.
They also informed the customers that the release of the Permission to Dance, Butter and other merchandises will be up next month! Aside from that, they also have the Tinytan zone where you can shop your favorite Tinytan character merchandise!
Admission
In the Soop highly encourages visitors with children, PWD and senior citizens to book reservations through the website MorningKall every Wednesday at 1PM. But at the same time, they allow walk-ins on-site to shop in the store.
The shop follows the operation schedule of SM Mall of Asia (10:00AM – 10:00PM). It is location at Level 1, South Main Mall near the carousel. You may also check their social media channels @morningKall for their weekly release.
