It’s Dew Jirawat’s third visit in Manila but the feels, warm welcome and love that the fans showered him are as equally heartwarming as the first and second one. This time around, the Thai actor took the spotlight and graced the stage of Samsung Hall, SM Aura with his witty and fun personality.

October 14 was definitely a weekend to remember as the fans indulged to the never-ending fan service and fan interactions brought by Dew Jirawat, who is having his first solo fanmeet in Manila. Dew previously visited Manila with the boys of F4 for the Shooting Star Concert, Globe Fanmeet and Asia Television Awards.

“Mahal kita baby”

Dew made everyone reminisce on his character “Ren” as he open the fanmeet with the F4 Thailand OST “In The Wind”. Of course, his “Mahal kita baby”, now named as his signature Manila greeting is the cue that the fun fanmet has just began.

“Love, Power and Baby”

Dew answered numerous questions given by the host– that includes three things that Dew brings during shoot. He gave random and unconventional answers like “phone, me, my heart, brain and watch.” He also shared that the keywords that best describe the show are “love, power and baby.”

If he’s not an actor today, he is probably someone’s “asawa” (husband) now, as claimed by fans. But Dew gave a memorable hugot line “But love is not an occupation. Thus it doesn’t count as a job.”

On-stage games with Dew

As he make the fans happy by spending a fun night with them, Dew equally enjoyed the games where he played “Pinoy Henyo” and was super game as he tries numerous Filipino snacks like halo-halo, chicharon and turon. Dew also reacted to numerous scenes from his dramas and music videos with Tu Tontawan and Prim Chanikarn.

Performances

Aside from his own songs, Dew also sang “My Ecstasy”, one of Bright Vachirawit’s song whom Dew adores as his idol in acting and a friend from F4 Thailand. It might be his third visit in Manila but this is the first time that the fans heard Dew rap. He also performed the song “Melt” โต๊ะริม by Nont Tanont.

“You are my North Star”

As he bids farewell to the fans, a VCR prepared by the fanclub played on-screen. Dew thanked the fans for their warm welcome and the moment that they spent with the actor. Right after, he sang his latest single “North Star.” The show ended with fan benefits with all the fans having hi-touch with the actor and selected tiers had their photo-op.
