HORI7ON’s Daytour: Anchor High was a night to remember for Filipino Anchors. The group’s second major concert, held on November 3, 2024, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, was a dazzling display of talent, energy, and fan love.
Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus wowed the crowd with their amazing performances, stunning visuals, and energetic dance moves that kept the fans excited and singing throughout the night.
The concert kicked off with HORI7ON‘s performance of the Tagalog version of their new single “Sumayaw Sumunod,” followed by “Lovey Dovey,” and the group’s version of “How You Feel” instead of a unit performance. After solo introductions, they praised their “classmates” for their cute uniform outfits and high energy. The boys also recalled the memories from their first concert “Voyage To Manila” and promised everyone to show powerful performances. They also performed their unreleased single written by Vinci and Marcus, “Cold,” a song about a relationship that starts to become cold.
SOLO PERFORMANCES
The fans got even more excited when HORI7ON’s solo stages began. Kim captivated everyone with his guitar skills while singing “YK” by Cean Jr. Kyler serenaded the crowd with “I Think They Call This Love,” a song by Elliot James Reay, using his deep voice while distributing red roses. Winston melted everyone’s heart with his rendition of Justin Bieber’s “Off My Face.” Marcus transformed into a bad boy with his jaw-dropping performance of Rain’s “Rainism.” Vinci soulfully sang Harry Styles’ “Falling.” Reyster amazed the audience with his breathtaking dance solo of Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga’s “Die With A Smile.” Jeromy finished strong with his smooth dancing skills, performing BTS’s “Butter.”
HORI7ON performed “another “Too Cool To Care,” a bop and electrifying song composed by Marcus, portraying the group’s fiercer side. Vinci said that they loved Anchors and wanted to bring them back to day one so they performed “Dash” and “Tiger.”
BEST IN SPELLING GAME
The members of HORI7ON showcased their intelligence by correctly spelling words like ‘Kaleidoscope,’ ‘Exquisite,’ ‘Quintessential,’ ‘Hypothesis,’ and ‘Phenomenon.’ Before spelling, they added a touch of fun by striking their fiercest pose and shouting their names. Vinci even jokingly claimed to be a spelling champion when he was in Grade 1. Reyster emerged as the top scorer, followed by Vinci, Winston, and Marcus. The top scorers formed a human tunnel, while Kim, Kyler, and Jeromy, who scored the lowest, playfully crawled through it.
UNFORGETTABLE SURPRISE
After the game, HORI7ON wholeheartedly sang “Mama” and “Salamat,” expressing their gratitude to their fans. They also thanked their families for supporting them during their second solo concert. As the song ended, a surprise fan-projected video was flashed on the screen, followed by the appearance of mascot Gavin with a cake. Vinci remarked that Filipino Anchors are the best crowd. HORI7ON proceeded to showcase their amazing dance moves and vocals as they performed “Meteor,” “Odd Eye,” and “Hit Me.”
LETTERS TO ANCHORS
HORI7ON shared favorite moments about their high school days. Vinci revealed that Reyster was once motivated to study hard and become an honor student due to a crush. The members also wrote heartfelt letters to their fans, which were read aloud and displayed on the screen. To commemorate the special moment, HORI7ON took a group photo with the crowd.
ENCORE
HORI7ON kept the crowd hyped up as they performed “Lucky” and “Six7een.” Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus bid their goodbyes but when everyone thought the show had ended, they came back running to the stage and sang “Sumayaw Sumunod!” Vinci said that HORI7ON can never sail without Anchors. The fun night ended with the never-ending “Birthday!”
