Lee Seung Gi surprised everyone with his special appearance at the charity event of BB.Q Chicken Philippines, in partnership with former Governor Luis Chavit Singson and The Office of the Vice Mayor of Quezon City. He also graced the opening of the restaurant at Robinsons Magnolia last September 17!

The event kicked off when Lee Seung Gi went up the stage for a quick opening greetings. This is his third visit in the Philippines but the warm welcome of Filipinos especially Filo Airens embraced the venue as he greets the audience and performed two of his most well-loved songs “Return” and “Losing My Mind.”

Lee Seung Gi lead in the distribution of gift packs and food to children of Quezon City. The event aims to return back the love and support they received through the #LOVEYOUBACK campaign.

“I received so much love from Philippine Airens and I want to give it back to them.” Lee Seung Gi shared when asked why he frequents the Philippines. The distribution of food packs were successful as the children of Quezon City are all smiles while receiving the gifts handed by Lee Seung Gi himself. They also had the chance to meet him up-close and lucky enough, some even had the chance to take selfies.

After the distribution, Lee Seung Gi answered some questions from the media including his future plans as an actor. The triple threat actor will be celebrating his 20th debut anniversary next year so he has a packed schedule this year.

He updated everyone that there are no ongoing shoots for a drama but he currently receives a lot of offers. Aside from that, fans are expecting a movie coming out as well!

He also shared that eating BB.Q Chicken reminds him a lot of his childhood since he often eats it before. Lee Seung Gi also visited the branch of BB.Q Chicken and even fried some inside the restaurant! This special appearance of Lee Seung Gi in Manila might be quick but this only proved that he is worthy of the title “Charity Fairy.”
